Last updated: July 2026. These terms govern your use of CaretIQ, operated by Asaad Sammouh (see our Legal Notice).
CaretIQ analyzes a CV against a job description using an AI model and returns a structured match report, offers a gallery of downloadable CV templates, and (via our Services & Contact page) can connect you with human career consultants. The service is offered on a Free plan with monthly usage limits and a paid Pro plan with expanded access.
You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You must be at least 16 years old to use CaretIQ. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
The Pro plan is billed as a recurring monthly subscription via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle until you cancel. You can cancel or pause your subscription at any time from the Pricing page — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Pro access until then. We do not prorate partial billing periods.
Right of withdrawal (EU consumers): if you are a consumer in the EU, you generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. By starting a Pro subscription and requesting immediate access to paid features, you acknowledge that the service begins immediately and, to the extent permitted by applicable law, that your right of withdrawal may end once the service has been fully performed. Nothing in this clause limits any mandatory consumer right you may have under Austrian or EU law.

You retain all rights to the CV content and job descriptions you upload. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the analysis you requested (including sending it to our AI processing provider for that purpose). We do not claim ownership of your CV or use it to train AI models.
Templates you download (Free or Pro) are licensed to you for your personal use in creating your own CV. You may not resell, redistribute, or repackage the template files themselves.
CaretIQ's AI-generated analysis, scores, and recommendations are provided for informational and educational purposes only. They are generated automatically and may contain inaccuracies. They do not constitute career, legal, or professional advice, and we do not guarantee any interview, job offer, or employment outcome.
To the extent permitted by law, CaretIQ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory Austrian or EU consumer protection law.
You may stop using CaretIQ and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
These terms are governed by Austrian law. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence continue to apply. Any dispute not resolved amicably falls under the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Austria, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer forum rights you may have.
We may update these terms as CaretIQ evolves. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
